Community approaches to contemporary social problems
The Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla (UIA Puebla) and the National Council for Teaching and Research in Psychology (CNEIP) hosted the Third International Conference on Community Psychology in Puebla, Mexico, from June 3 to 5, 2010. The Puebla conference addressed a number of pressing social problems of the world at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The main themes of the conference were: economic polarization, virtualization, interculturality and violence. There were addressed through different community approaches: critical reflection, research and evaluation, theoretical trends, public policies, training experiences, ethical challenges, practices and interventions.
