ICCP2020 Naarm | Melbourne, Australia (online)

The data for this visualisation is drawn from the conference proceedings which includes all the abstracts that were accepted to the face to face June 2020 conference that was unable to proceed due to the pandemic. This was a greater number than were able to present at the virtual event but does include all those virtual presenters.

This visualisation shows the occurrence and relationships of terms used in the titles and abstracts of the conference proceedings. The threshold for minimum occurrence was set at 15 (terms with less than this don’t appear). The software detects relationships bewteen terms within each entry and then across all the entries, this is how it then develops the coloured clusters (these could be broadly thought of as themes, althought they are not labelled in any way). Thickness of lines indicates the strength of a link to another term and size of circles indicates the number of co-conenctions with other terms (the more co-connections a term has, the bigger the circle).

The visualisation can be zoomed, moved around and other filters can be accessed by the pop out menu on the left hand side. Clicking on circles will highlight the networks.
